Match the bulb base to your fixture. The candle, A19 and A21 variants are damp-rated, enclosed-fixture rated and not outdoor-rated. Only the daylight PAR38 variant is wet-rated and outdoor-rated; it is not rated for enclosed fixtures. Dimming support is variant-specific.
