Compatibility and Safe Installation

Check the opener model, radio system and Learn button before installation. Temporary PIN operation is not supported with an external receiver. One-button close is not available on openers manufactured before 2006 or with an external receiver.

For residential door openers, use only compatible units manufactured from January 1993 onward with photoelectric sensors near the bottom of the door track. Install the keypad within sight of the door, at least 5ft (1.5m) high and away from moving parts. Programming can move the door: keep its travel path clear and in view.
