Installation and Compatibility

Use with a fluorescent ballast only when its exact model appears on the manufacturer approved list. An unapproved ballast must not be used. Qualified direct-wire installation can bypass the ballast using a single-ended or double-ended configuration. Single-ended wiring requires non-shunted lampholders; double-ended wiring supports shunted and non-shunted lampholders. Disconnect power before installation. Use only in dry or damp locations without direct water or weather exposure; these lamps are not water-tight.
