The K30 uses non-dispersive infrared sensing to measure carbon dioxide in OEM, HVAC and indoor air quality projects. Choose a standard sensor module, a custom-output sensor or a development kit that connects to a PC through USB for real-time measurements, graphing and data logging with GasLab software.
Key Features
- Two analog outputs and two digital outputs for integration projects.
- Measurements every two seconds, with automatic background calibration enabled unless specified otherwise.
- Pre-calibrated sensor with a complete function check at startup.
- Diffusion sampling; a separately offered tube cap adapter supports sample-draw arrangements.
- Three options: standard 030-8-0006 module, 030-8-0006-C custom-output sensor and CM-0024 USB development kit.
Specifications
- Measurement range: 0–10,000ppm; published accuracy specifications apply within 0–5,000ppm
- Listed accuracy: ±30ppm ±3% of measured value within specifications
- Listed repeatability: ±20ppm ±1% of measured value within specifications
- Response: 20 seconds with diffusion, or two seconds at a 0.5L/min sample flow
- Warm-up: below one minute initially; below 15 minutes for full specifications
- Module supply: 5.5–14V DC, stabilized within 10%, with external protection circuits required
- Average module current: 40mA
- Module dimensions: 51 × 58 × approximately 14mm
The custom-output option requires the configuration form for non-default settings; without the form, the sensor is supplied with default settings. The USB connection applies to the development kit, not the bare module. Pumps, tube caps and protective enclosures are separate accessories.
