Setup and Use

Direct Tapo Wi-Fi setup does not require a hub. Integration with a third-party Matter platform requires that platform’s compatible hub. Tapo smart buttons and sensors are sold separately and require a Tapo Hub for the respective automation functions.

Use with regular light switches. Do not use with dimmers or for emergency lighting. The increased bulb weight may affect retention and contact in some luminaires and lamp holders.
