The LED420 is a manual bill and document validator that illuminates security features for inspection by eye. UV and white LEDs, an integrated ruler and a security-thread reference label help the operator compare a document with a known genuine reference. Select the listed US or Euro plug configuration, with or without the stand package.
Key Features
- Three inspection methods: ultraviolet, watermark and dimensional comparison.
- Super-bright UV LEDs illuminate fluorescent security features, while white LEDs illuminate the watermark inspection window.
- An integrated ruler supports size comparison, and the security-thread label gives US-dollar thread color and position references.
- UV and watermark selector buttons control the inspection lights; a function activator sensor can activate the UV light when a document is placed in the inspection area.
- The internal timer keeps the selected inspection light on for about 50 seconds; press the corresponding button when more time is needed.
- Manual inspection supports bills, credit cards, IDs, passports and other security documents. Results depend on the operator's comparison and the features present on the document.
