Budget Ant Dual Brushed ESC with 2–3S Recommended Input, 5V 1.5A BEC, Center Braking and PWM Mixing

Repeat Robotics Budget Ant DESC is a dual brushed motor controller for antweight robot drive systems. It is intended for Repeat 16mm brushed motors or other suitable antweight brushed drive motors.

Key Features

• Center braking and onboard mixing, with mixing disabled by default. Enable mixing by cutting the indicated board jumper.
• Automatic PWM adjustment: 800–1100μs for reverse and 1900–2200μs for forward.
• Signal-loss failsafe stops the motors.
• Pre-soldered XT30U power connector, three-pin BEC/ground signal connector and one-pin signal connector.

• Recommended normal input: 2–3S.
• Listed current: 2A continuous and 4A burst.
• Integrated BEC output: 5V/1.5A.

Use and Package

The BEC supports servos on 2–3S and receivers on 2–4S; do not use it for servos on 4S or above 4S. Motor stalls can damage the ESC, especially when operating a Repeat 16mm motor on 4S. The package contains one Budget Ant Dual Brushed ESC; motors, battery and receiver are separate.
